For those coming to Loncon 3 who want to see Before the Dawn, and who need to leave on Monday in order to get to work on Tuesday, Before the Dawn is the last item in the filk programme on Monday, and is scheduled to start after the closing ceremony, at around 4.30 or so. In which I declare that I have nothing to declare, not even genius. Three weeks ago, I had five of my own songs outstanding. They are still outstanding.

However I have started putting some of the stuff smallship1 gave me on my computer, particularly music scores. So there is a little bit of progress there.

So little time...

The story so far...
I am working on the songs I contributed to the saga all those years ago, some of which were never quite finished, so that we "plotters" can decide which we will include in the programme slots that AXXIdental have kindly alotted to us. The number of Before the Dawn songs I had to get into a state of relative completeness grew to eight this week, when a BtD poem, which I had, of course, written to be spoken and not sung, suddenly demanded:

"I can haz tune too, plz!"

So, I have just sent fleetfootmike a tranche of three completed songs, including said poem. I am now left with five to deal ( Read more... )
